We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Expeditor to join an Oil & Gas Project in Oman.
Position: Mechanical Expeditor

Experience: Relevant experience in Mechanical Expediting / Procurement / Vendor Coordination
Key Responsibilities
- Expedite mechanical equipment, materials and purchase orders as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, procurement, engineering and QA/QC teams.
- Monitor manufacturing progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays.
- Follow up on engineering documents, material readiness, inspection, FAT, packing and dispatch.
- Review vendor progress reports and maintain accurate expediting status reports.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and vendors for inspection activities.
- Identify schedule slippages and support recovery plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, PO requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare regular expediting reports and highlight critical items to the project team.
Ideal Candidate
Mechanical Engineering / Diploma qualification
Proven experience in Mechanical Expediting within Oil & Gas / EPC projects
Strong exposure to mechanical equipment, vendors and fabrication activities
Experience with PO tracking, vendor documentation and manufacturing schedules
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under project deadlines and manage multiple critical orders
