Position Title: Sr. QAQC Engineer
Reports to: Sr. QA/QC Manager

JOB PURPOSE:
The Sr. QA/QC Engineer Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for the project, ensuring that all manufacturing, construction and installation activities are conducted in compliance with the contract specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. This role supports project success through proactive quality planning, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 10 years of QAQC experience, with 5 years in utility-scale renewable or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC, ASTM, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards in Wind Technology
- Proven experience in managing quality systems, inspection processes, and third-party audits.
- Experience with offshore manufacturing quality assurance and conducting FATs at international facilities.
- Skilled in quality documentation tools, NCR tracking systems, and reporting software.
Minimum Skills - Proficiency in Office Software and tools related to project management.
- Experience in multicultural environment and complex organizations.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Control Procedures submitted by EPC contractors and subcontractors.
- Lead quality audits, both internal and external, and ensure prompt resolution of non-conformities (NCRs).
- Manage incoming material inspections, site quality inspections, and testing activities across all disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical).
- Monitor the performance of subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Support the Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans lead by Sr. QA/QC Manager for quality incidents and recurring issues.
- Participate in design and construction reviews to ensure constructability and compliance to quality standards.
- Provide regular quality status reports, KPIs, and dashboard updates to project leadership.
- Support Sr QA/QC Manager and Sr. Procurement Manager to oversee and manage offshore quality management of suppliers, including manufacturing quality audits, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) procedures, and inspection reviews at supplier locations.
- Support the turnover from construction phase to commissioning phase.
- Interface with the EPC and other stakeholders in all matters related with the Quality aspects of the project, according to the EPC contract and PPA contract and the applicable local and international standards of quality.
- Coordinate and attend the site and workshop inspections and tests.
- Guarantee the preparation of the quality dossier in a timely manner.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed.
- Supervision of the project quality and support
- Coordinate with the Construction Manager, the Engineering Manager, the Disciplines Managers and Commissioning Manager in all matters related to Quality Control & Assurance.
- Ensure that the Quality Site Teams perform a daily control of the execution of the works and review the documentation generated by the contractor and their subcontractors used for civil, welding, mechanical assembly, electrical, I&C and installation works.
- Attend to the Project Monthly Meetings and weekly construction meetings with the EPC and Owner.
- Participate in and conduct the site internal and external site audits.
- Support the Project Director/Site Manager and the Technical Team in all aspects related with Quality matters.
- Ensure that the distribution of relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors of the EPC is done in a timely manner.
- Ensure the reception and the review of the quality monthly and weekly reports from the EPC

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes, and projects in line with the organisation’s standards.
