We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector – GRE / Welding for a long-term assignment in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in the inspection of GRE piping fabrication, welding activities, assembly, and quality control within a fabrication yard environment, preferably on Oil & Gas projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience in GRE piping inspection and quality control within a fabrication yard, preferably for Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience in GRE pipe fabrication, jointing, installation, hydrotesting, and inspection activities.
• ADNOC-approved candidates or those with prior ADNOC project experience will have an added advantage.
• Valid CSWIP or AWS certification.
• Valid FPI certification is mandatory.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of GRE piping fabrication, jointing, and welding activities in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Inspect incoming materials and verify material traceability, mill certificates (MTCs), and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of fabricated spools, piping assemblies, and welded joints.
• Monitor GRE fabrication activities, including cutting, preparation, lamination, bonding, jointing, and curing processes.
• Verify welding activities are performed in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and ensure welder qualifications are valid.
• Witness and coordinate required Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities for welded joints, as specified in the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak tests for GRE and welded piping systems.
