We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector - Welding for a long-term assignment in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding inspection activities for structural steel, piping, and fabrication works.

Position Details:

• Position: QC Inspector - Welding
• Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Duration: Long-Term
• Joining: Immediate

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Valid CSWIP / AWS Certification with at least 3 years post-certification experience
• ADNOC-approved candidates or those with prior ADNOC project experience will have an added advantage.
• Strong experience in welding inspection activities for structural steel, piping, and fabrication works.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

 
Job Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of welding activities in accordance with approved ITP, project specifications, and applicable codes/standards.
• Verify base materials, welding consumables, joint preparation, fit-up, alignment, and welding parameters before welding.
• Ensure welding is carried out as per approved WPS, PQR, and relevant procedures.
• Check welder qualifications and confirm that only qualified welders are deployed for the assigned work.
• Conduct visual inspection of welds during and after welding.
• Monitor preheating, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate and witness NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, PT, and review related reports.
