Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer - Instrumentation

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer - Instrumentation to support an onshore gas plant project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control activities related to instrumentation systems within the oil & gas industry. The candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities for instrumentation works.
• Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, ITPs, and applicable international standards.
• Conduct inspections for instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
• Witness and verify inspection and testing activities as per approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Review material inspection reports, calibration certificates, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
• Raise, monitor, and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), observations, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure all quality records and documentation are accurately maintained and submitted.
• Participate in internal and client quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company quality management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech / B.E.) and Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in QA/QC Instrumentation within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience on Onshore Gas Plant projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards such as IEC, ISA, ISO, and client specifications.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing ITPs, method statements, quality procedures, and inspection reports.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Immediate availability or candidates who can mobilize at short notice will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on EPC projects.
• Previous experience with major Oil & Gas operators or contractors in the GCC region will be an advantage.
