Job Description - Project Head (GRC)
 
Job Location - Qatar 
Job Duration - Long Term
 
The Project Head will be responsible for leading and managing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives, ensuring successful project planning, execution, and delivery in line with organizational objectives. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, overseeing project implementation, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of GRC implementation projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide strategic recommendations.
• Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance activities to ensure alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Analyze project and business data to support decision-making and performance reporting.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, project status updates, and executive reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure project quality, compliance, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Mentor and support project team members while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• 7-8 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) implementation.
• Mandatory GRCP (Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional) or GRCA (Governance, Risk and Compliance Auditor) certification.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging with senior management and executive leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.
