Open Roles for Project Inspectors
Mechanical Inspector- Static (API 510/API 570)
Client: Saudi ARAMCO
Project: QMIS - Saudi Aramco Quality Management Inspection Service
Work Location: Within Saudi Arabia, at Saudi Aramco project Sites, Specific location to be identified upon selection
Project: NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) or Fractionation projects.
Scope:
The incumbent will monitor and/or perform quality activities at all stages
of projects. The incumbent will ensure contractor's work is in compliance
with all applicable requirements including without limitation SAUDI
ARAMCO engineering requirements, standards, procedures,
specifications, and Schedule Q of the project contract. The incumbent
will provide training to others as and when required. Duties may require
physical exertion, working outdoors, confined spaces, high elevations,
and remote work locations, and on or off-shor
Responsibilities:
- Perform "Hold", "Witness" and "Surveillance" inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
- Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
- Monitor Contractor's Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
- Review and evaluate Contractor's Quality document submittals.
- Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
- Record legibly and accurately all controversial and noncomplying construction practices, materials and equipment
and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution. - Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s in respective discipline OR a 2-year industrial/technical College.
- Experience: 4+ years of quality experience required for Engineering (8+ years of quality experience required for diploma holders).
- Certifications: Inspectors are expected to hold internationally recognized certifications in the disciplines for which they are qualified.
- mechanical inspector- API 563 for Tanks, API 570, API 510 or ASME certified for Pressure Vessels, Boilers and Heat Exchangers, and ASNT Level II in MT, PT, UT & VT, RTFI.
