Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent operational safety certification (mandatory)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Field Safety & Operations Auditor to monitor and verify the effective implementation of Safety, Health & Environment Management (SHEM) systems at site. The role focuses on field-level audits, observing critical safety processes, and ensuring compliance with operational safety standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field audits and inspections to verify implementation of SHEM policies and procedures
Observe and evaluate Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, ensuring compliance with safety requirements
Assess effectiveness of hazard identification and control measures at site
Monitor and evaluate contractor safety performance and adherence to HSE standards
Verify execution and quality of EHS leadership walkthroughs and safety engagements
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Ensure compliance with site-specific safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Participate in and support incident investigations and root cause analysis
Maintain accurate audit reports, inspection records, and observations
Provide real-time feedback to site teams to drive immediate safety improvements
Track closure of audit findings and ensure timely resolution
Promote a strong safety culture and behavioral safety practices across operations
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of field safety practices and operational risk controls
Experience with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and contractor safety management
Good understanding of hazard identification and risk mitigation techniques
Strong observation, reporting, and documentation skills
Ability to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions proactively
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accountability
Preferred Experience:
Experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, Infrastructure, or Industrial operations
Exposure to GCC/Middle East project environments
Experience working in high-risk or multi-contractor sites
