Job Title: Scaffolding Inspector

Job Location - Oman
Job Duration - 2 Years

Job Purpose
To ensure all scaffolding structures are erected, maintained, and used safely in compliance with OSHA, BS 1139, EN 12811, and project safety requirements through regular inspections, tagging, and proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all scaffolds prior to use.
• Inspect newly erected, altered, and dismantled scaffolds.
• Verify proper installation of base plates, sole boards, standards, ledgers, transoms, bracing, guardrails, toe boards, and access systems.
• Ensure scaffolds meet OSHA, BS 1139, EN 12811, and client specifications.
• Implement and maintain scaffold tagging system (Green - Safe, Yellow - Restricted Use, Red - Do Not Use).
• Maintain accurate scaffold inspection logs and records.
• Identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
• Coordinate with scaffolding supervisors, HSE, and construction teams.
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Stop work if scaffold conditions pose safety risks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Scaffolding Inspector (CISRS / OSHA or equivalent).
• Minimum 3-5 years of scaffolding inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, BS 1139, and EN 12811 standards.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Construction projects preferred.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
