TÜV Rheinland Egypt is currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Tank Inspector, particularly those with a strong background in the oil and gas sector to join their team, contributing to the delivery of world-class inspection services within the region. This role involves assessing the condition of tanks used for storing various liquids and gases, with a particular emphasis on those within the oil and gas sector.
 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tank inspections, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Valid Certification in CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI.
• Valid Certification in API 653
• Valid Certification in NDT Level II (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT).
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, API 570, and other relevant piping standards
• Experience with the inspection of atmospheric and pressurized storage tanks.

 
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections of storage tanks.
• Evaluate tank shell, bottom, and roof conditions.
• Perform thickness measurements and assess corrosion levels.
• Review tank design and construction documentation.
• Ensure tanks are within the structural integrity and compliance with industry standards
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform settlement surveys.
• Evaluate the integrity of tank foundations.
• Witness and verify hydrotests
• Ensure contractor compliance to end user specifications & international standards.
• Issue NCRs & Proactive notifications.
