Hiring: HSE Officer – Offshore Electrical Substation Project We are seeking a qualified HSE Officer with strong offshore and electrical substation experience for an offshore project.
Position Details

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Client and Project HSE policies, procedures, and offshore standards
• Conduct offshore site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments
• Monitor activities related to HV/LV electrical systems, substations, cable laying, erection, testing & commissioning
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety rules, PTW, LOTO, and offshore safety procedures
• Supervise safety during lifting operations, marine activities, working at height, and confined space entry
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, permits, reports, and incident records
• Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training for offshore personnel
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate with project management, contractors, marine teams, and client HSE representatives
• Promote a strong offshore safety culture and stop unsafe work when required
• Participate in emergency response drills and offshore HSE meetings

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HSE Officer on Offshore Electrical Substation / Power projects
• Strong knowledge of offshore electrical safety, HV systems, and substation-related hazards
• Relevant HSE certification (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent preferred)
• Familiar with offshore safety standards and client requirements
• Medically fit for offshore work
• Good communication and reporting skills
