NDT Team Leader (PAUT/TOFD Specialist)

�� Work Schedule: 6 days per week
 
Position Overview
 
We are seeking an experienced NDT Team Leader to support inspection activities under a call-off contract for a major oil & gas project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PAUT and TOFD methods and proven leadership in field inspection teams.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise NDT examinations on steel structures, pressure vessels, and piping.
• Analyze and interpret PAUT/TOFD results in line with project codes and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ASME/API/AWS).
• Prepare inspection reports and recommend appropriate testing techniques.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and project teams to maintain inspection quality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Science.
• Certified to ASNT NDT Level III in at least RT, UT, PT, MT methods.
• Minimum 10 years of experience for degree holders or 15 years for diploma holders, with at least 5 years at Level III.
• Strong knowledge of PAUT/TOFD, international codes, and ITP procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with QatarEnergy LNG or similar oil & gas projects is an advantage.

Project Scope

• Approx. 140 tie-in joints (48") - pipeline and header weld inspections.
• Material: API 5L X65 / MSS SP 75 WPHY-65.
• Work includes PAUT/TOFD examination, interpretation, and reporting
