Job Position: ASME Authorized Inspector
 
Location: Oman
 
Educational Qualifications:

Diploma/ Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science
(Preferable : Welding, Metallurgy or Mechanical streams)


Technical Qualifications:

Successful completion of National Board School "A" and "B" endorsement training.
Also holding a valid NB1C commission with Al ,B
And at least any two of the certifications below mentioned :
NBIC R or IS training & endorsement.
Welding Inspector (AWS CW1 or CSWIP CW13.112)
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
API 510
Optional Qualifications: ASNT NDT Level II in PT, MT,UT,RTFI

Work Experience:

• At least 10 years' experience in inspection background, especially for Oil/Gas, Petrochemical sector related projects, good computer literacy.
• Familiar with basic equipment operation, international lifting equipment codes and standards for performing inspection and certification.
• Team player but able to work independently on inspections & audits.
• Must have the ability to communicate with clients in an advisory capacity if required and the ability to judge the suitability of the equipment being used in relation to its use.

Job duties & responsibilities:

• Responsible to carry out inspection and witness of tests as per the client requirement and international standards. Responsible to follow international standards and local regulations.
• Responsible to make report on the basis of inspection and ensure timely deliverables such as Reports.
• Carry out inspection activities as per the established inspection and test plan, inspection procedures, checklists and work instruction as applicable.
• Carry out Inspections such as Vendor Shop I Fabrication Inspection, In-service Inspection, Material Inspection & Welding Qualification.
• Build up trust and good relationship with customers. And liaise with clients regarding project related issues. Report client feedback to Business Field Manager.
• To perform Third Party Inspection activities and it's reporting according to the scope of work stipulated by contract.
• Comply and ensure implementation of the company's and the customer's Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
• Upon request from Business Field Manager, he/she shall conduct monitoring of inspection engineer/ inspectors. Also shall provide mentoring / technical support to inspection engineer/ inspectors.
• Achieve KPIs set by Business Field Manager (1.01).
• Support the Business Field Manager to develop the business, And to act as his deputy for the duties during his absence,
• May undertake other duties assigned by the Field Manager such as marketing and sales activities related to the technological background.
• Technical support in Market analysis, lead generation, targeting, and qualification of new prospective clients for company's ASME and other services in UAE.
• Day to day contact with potential and existing clients for new sales opportunities and to expand scope of service with them.
