Position: Inspection Engineer

Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Employment Type: Permanent

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering

Technical Certifications:

• API 510 & API 653
• CSWIP 3.1 / AWS Certified Welding Inspector
• ASNT Level II

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-service inspections of piping, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
• Perform inspections during maintenance, shutdowns, and turnaround activities.
• Ensure compliance with API standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Provide recommendations for repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure asset integrity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant inspection experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
• Strong knowledge of inspection codes, standards, and NDT methods.
• Candidates currently in the UAE and available for immediate mobilization are preferred.
