Position: Process Inspector / Engineer (Shutdown)
 
Location: Oman
 
Duration: 20~30 days (actuals as per shutdown scenario)
 
Tentative start date: End of September to Oct 2025.

Working Hours: 12 hours/day – 6/7 days a week (Based on client requirements)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of equipment (columns, furnaces, trays, etc.) during turnaround activities.
• Supervise catalyst loading/unloading, material replacement, and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare inspection reports and share findings and recommendations with relevant teams.
• Oversee MOC implementation, PSSR activities, and follow up on open action items.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and participate in site audits.
• Support process improvements and turnaround best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in chemical or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience in petrochemical or refining industries, with expertise in Olefin cracker plants, catalyst handling, and inspections.
• Knowledge of process drawings (P&IDs, PFDs), QA/QC, and HSE standards.
• Ability to work at heights, in shifts (day/night), with strong reporting and communication skills.
