About the Role: TUV Rheinland Egypt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with a strong background in steel structures and fabrication. This project-based role is critical to ensuring the efficient execution and timely completion of our steel structure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing fabrication processes, ensuring material and resource availability, and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication Oversight: Utilize a robust fabrication background to effectively oversee and manage the steel fabrication process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze fabrication reports, identifying bottlenecks, deviations, and potential risks, and promptly report these findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Material Management: Ensure and verify the timely availability of all necessary materials for the fabrication and project execution phases.
• Resource Management: Monitor and manage the availability and optimal utilization of resources (human, equipment, etc.) required for the project.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and contribute to the resolution of issues and deviations to maintain project progress.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with significant and demonstrable experience specifically in steel structure projects and fabrication processes.
• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of steel fabrication techniques, standards, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling and tracking tools.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify bottlenecks and deviations.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced project environment.
• Availability: Must be available for the entire project duration from Mid-June to Mid-September 2025.
