TÜV Rheinland is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for a mega 2-year oil and gas construction project in Egypt.
 
Job Description:
The Electrical Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, and documentation of electrical commissioning activities on project site. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient startup of electrical systems and equipment.
 
Responsibilities: (not limited to)

• Develop and implement electrical commissioning procedures and schedules.
• Perform pre-commissioning checks and functional testing of electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with construction and operations teams to ensure smooth commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Document commissioning activities and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Witness function tests of electrical equipment.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with electrical control systems and instrumentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
