Position: PdM Engineer (Predictive Maintenance Engineer)

Provide a specialized technical and engineering support utilizing state of the art predictive techniques to ensure rotating equipment reliability and availability

Roles and Responsibilities

• Identifying and predicting potential equipment failures through data analysis and trend monitoring
• Using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques, such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermal imaging, and ultrasonic testing
• Collaborating with other engineering teams in minor projects and troubleshooting related to rotating equipment
• Knowledge on rotating equipment and condition monitoring standards
• Issue machinery condition report on routine basis and recommend proactive actions wherever required with in the agreed timeline
• Lead/participate RCA and provide solutions to repetitive equipment failures to ensure plant reliability and availability
• Skilled in vibration diagnostics using both online and offline vibration monitoring systems
• Provide technical support for maintenance activities
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase reliability
• Support reliability team during RCM analysis
• Works with minimal supervision in providing expert troubleshooting skills and recommendations in the analysis of failure modes of rotating equipment
• Training other staff members on condition monitoring techniques and best practices

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in predictive maintenance working petrochemical/ Refinery / Oil & Gas plants.
• Having 2-3 years of experience in major rotating equipment maintenance is desired
• Working experience in AMS machinery manager, System1 online vibration monitoring module
• Working experience on offline monitoring analyzers (CSI 2140 or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge on vibration analysis, interpretation of all online, offline vibration plots
• Able to manage lube oil analysis program and interpret third party/In house oil analysis reports
• Certifications: Vibration Analyst CAT III, Machinery Lubrication Analyst Level 2, CMRP certification is preferred
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations - API, ISO
• Experience in SAP
• Experience in Root cause analysis
• Experience in PI or equivalent historian is desired
• Knowledge of DCS, ESD system, PLC, integrated control systems for rotating machinery
• Understanding and interpretation of P&IDs / PFDs & Engineering drawings
