Scope: The incumbent will monitor and/or perform quality activities. The incumbent will ensure that work is in compliance with all applicable requirements including without limitation SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirements, standards, procedures, specifications, and Schedule Q of the project contract. The incumbent will provide training to others as and when required. Duties may require physical exertion, working outdoors, confined spaces, high elevations, and remote work locations, and on or off-shore.
Principal Duties:
Inspect electrical and CP assets and systems as applicable to ensure compliance with international and SAUDI ARAMCO requirements.
Monitor records for electrical and CP assets and systems for compliance with international and SAUDI ARAMCO requirements
Witness on-site and off-site electrical and CP assets and systems material storage, preservation, receiving and installations tests for compliance with international and SAUDI ARAMCO requirements.
Write inspection notes, logs and reports, as and when required.
Initiate Defect Notifications and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs), as and when required
You should meet the below minimum requirement to apply for Electrical Inspector:
Minimum of four (4) years of Electrical inspection experience in the operation of Petrochemical or Hydrocarbon facilities if B.S. degree in Engineering is obtained OR eight (8) years of Electrical inspection experience in the operation of Petrochemical or Hydrocarbon facilities if two (2) years industrial/technical college diploma is obtained.
Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC, NACE/AMPP or equivalent standards
Have working knowledge of electrical and CP installations including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries
You should meet the below minimum requirement to apply for Senior Electrical Inspector:
BS degree in Engineering plus a minimum of six (6) years of Static Mechanical Plant Equipment Inspection experience in the operation of Petrochemical or Hydrocarbon facilities. OR two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of ten (10) years of Static Mechanical Plant Equipment Inspection experience in the operation of Petrochemical or Hydrocarbon facilities.
Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC, NACE/AMPP or equivalent standards
Have working knowledge of electrical and CP installations including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
