TÜV Rheinland is seeking a Mechanical Static Commissioning Engineer for a mega 2-year oil and gas construction project in Egypt.
 
Job Description:
The Mechanical Static Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the static commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring proper installation and readiness for dynamic commissioning.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement static commissioning procedures and checklists.
• Perform visual inspections, pressure testing, and other static tests on mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with construction and operations teams to ensure smooth commissioning activities.
• Document commissioning activities and prepare detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot mechanical system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all preservation activities are completed.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in mechanical static commissioning, preferably in oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with pressure testing and inspection techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
