TÜV Rheinland is seeking a Mechanical Construction Engineer for a mega 2-year oil and gas construction project in Egypt.
 
Job Description:
 
The Mechanical Construction Engineer will oversee and manage mechanical construction activities on project site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
 
Responsibilities: (not limited to)

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction activities, including piping, equipment installation, and structural steel erection.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets.
• Monitor construction progress and provide regular status reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and quality control measures.
• Resolve site queries.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in mechanical construction, preferably in oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction practices and standards.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
