TÜV Rheinland is seeking an Instrument Commissioning Engineer for a mega 2-year oil and gas construction project in Egypt.
 
Job Description:
The Instrument Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, and documentation of instrument commissioning activities on project site. This role involves ensuring the proper calibration and functionality of instrumentation systems.
 
Responsibilities: (not limited to)

• Develop and implement instrument commissioning procedures and schedules.
• Perform loop checks, calibration, and functional testing of instruments.
• Coordinate with construction and operations teams to ensure smooth commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot instrument system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Document commissioning activities and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Witness function tests of instrument equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in instrument commissioning, preferably in oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems and calibration procedures.
• Familiarity with control systems and PLCs.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
