TÜV Rheinland is seeking an Electrical Technical Office Engineer for a mega 2-year oil and gas construction project (Cairo office) in Egypt.
 
Job Description:
The Electrical Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and documentation control for electrical systems. This role involves working closely with design teams, project managers, and field engineers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of electrical documentation and technical information.
 
Responsibilities: (not limited to)

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Prepare and manage electrical technical submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with design engineers to resolve technical queries and ensure design compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical equipment and materials.
• Support procurement activities by providing technical input for material requisitions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant with project requirement.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in oil and gas projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
