TÜV Rheinland Egypt is currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Piping Inspector, particularly those with a strong background in the oil and gas sector to join their team, contributing to the delivery of world-class inspection services within the region. This role involves assessing the condition of piping used for transporting fluids and gases, particularly in oil and gas facilities.
 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in piping inspections, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Valid Certification in CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI.
• Valid Certification in API 570.
• Valid Certification in NDT Level II (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT).
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, API 570, and other relevant piping standards.
• Experience with the inspection of process piping, pipelines, and pipe supports.

• Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections of piping systems.
• Evaluate weld quality and material integrity.
• Perform pressure testing and assess piping performance.
• Review piping design and fabrication documentation.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Evaluate corrosion and erosion damage.
• Verify the correct installation of pipe supports and hangers.
• Witness and verify hydrotests on pipeline and piping systems.
• Verify cleaning and preservation activities.
• Ensure contractor compliance to end user specifications & international standards.
• Issue NCRs & Proactive notifications.
