Position Summary:
 
As a Senior HSE Engineer, you will be instrumental in overseeing the health and safety protocols during the construction of the manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will help minimize risks, ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, and cultivate a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree of Engineering or science graduate.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HSE roles within the construction industry, specifically in manufacturing facility construction.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or IOSH Managing Safely certificate is a must
• ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices, particularly within the construction sector.
• Experience with HSE management systems and auditing.

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs and initiatives compatible with the organization's operations.
• Perform risk assessments, safety inspections, and HSE audits on-site to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with the relevant regulatory and company's HSE standards.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in HSE practices to enhance efficiency and safety across construction projects.
• Conduct HSE training for employees and contractors to promote a safe work culture.
• Oversee the establishment and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Advise on a range of specialist areas, including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, and occupational diseases.
