Position: ICS Cyber Security Consultant

Location: Oman 

Education & Qualifications:

Master / Bachelor’s in Instrumentation and Control engineering

Certifications Preferred, not mandatory: GICSP, IEC 62443 Fundamentals Specialist

Primary Area of Experience:

• Should have min 10 yrs. experience in security of OT systems (Water / Desalination / Power).
• Experience on Building Frameworks / Polices / Procedures and guidelines.
• Carry out the asset life cycle management.
• Risk assessment and risk management.
• Internal Audits and gap implementation.
• ICS security architecture.
• ICS incident handling and forensics.
• ICS SOC Operations.
• ICS systems security hardening.
• ICS crisis management

• The cyber-Security support role in SCADA / DCS governance function, providing line management,
• leadership, and strategic direction for this function across security administration and management to
• achieve the security objectives.
• Knowledge in building Security Policies / procedures / cyber security governance framework
• End to end understanding and knowledge in Risk management frameworks and experience in implementing the same in SCADA networks and its alignment with ERM.
• Adept in understanding the business requirements and switching the same to cyber security frameworks.
• Experience in conducting Information Security Awareness Program
• Experience in understanding the BCP/DR requirements of SCDA networks and help in implementing
• resilience in the business-critical networks.
• Understanding of IT and OT connectivity requirements and support in integration requirements.
• Experience in conducting Cyber security compliance Audits and provide support in implementation of Gaps identified.
• Helps in identification of threat & vulnerabilities in the systems and help in Identifying threat based on attack patterns and anomalies, configure and customize alerts, notification, threat detection and reporting mechanisms based on nature of security events and dynamic threat sources.
• Experience in Cyber Security Incident Response Capability
• Experience in Master SCADA system upgrade
• Providing support in both Internal and External Audits by various agencies
• Knowledge in ensuring the Security Assurance programs which indicate the SCADA/ DCS security posture for overall health status of security and service management and enable the trend line of the metrics result to management.
