Job Title: QA/QC Inspector (Piping & Vessels)

Location: Oman

Experience Required: Minimum 6 year's

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• CSWIP 3.2 – Certified Welding Inspector
• NACE Level II / BGAS Certification – Coating Inspection

1. Inspection & Quality Control:
   • Perform quality inspections for piping and vessel fabrication, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
   • Conduct welding inspections per ASME, API, and other relevant standards.
   • Inspect material, fit-up, welding, NDT, and post-weld heat treatment processes.
2. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, and welding documentation.
   • Ensure proper documentation of all welding procedures, welder qualifications, and NDT reports.
3. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Coating Inspection:
   • Oversee NDT processes, including RT, UT, PT, and MT, ensuring compliance with standards.
   • Conduct surface preparation and coating inspections as per NACE/BGAS requirements.
4. Compliance & Standards:
   • Ensure all activities comply with client specifications, industry codes, and project requirements.
   • Participate in audits, surveillance visits, and compliance reviews.
5. Defect Analysis & Rectification:
   • Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions.
   • Monitor repairs and ensure defect-free fabrication.
6. Coordination & Communication:
   • Coordinate with production teams, contractors, and third-party inspectors.
   • Provide technical guidance on welding and coating matters.
7. Safety & Best Practices:
   • Adhere to site safety regulations and promote quality and safety best practices.
