RFT - Supply and Delivery of Storage Containers for Schools on Outer Islands and at the Ministry of Education, the Republic of Kiribati
Request for Tender Supply and Delivery of 100 Galvanised Steel Storage Containers for Schools on Outer Islands and at the Ministry of Education, the Republic of Kiribati
Managed by Cardno Emerging Markets (Australia) (Cardno) the KEIP is an Australian Aid funded program that works closely with the Kiribati Ministry of Education (MoE) in support of their basic education reform. The KEIP is the largest education support program in Kiribati, aligned to Government of Kiribati (GoK) goals, as are set out in their Education Sector Strategic Plan (ESSP) 2020 - 23.
Cardno/KEIP are seeking Tender submissions from suitably qualified organisations experienced in the supply and delivery of Galvanised Steel Storage Containers to be used in 94 primary and junior secondary schools across 18 islands in the Gilbert Islands group, and 6 to be utilised by the Ministry of Education (MoE) of the Republic of Kiribati.
The 100 containers supplied will comprise three rows of internal shelving, be secure, durable and robust in nature, and be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. The storage containers will be well manufactured, and their surfaces protected through a quality powder coated finish on top of galvanising, in order to withstand the harsh marine environment experienced in Kiribati. The tenderers are required to explain how their proposed product meets this central quality criteria. The containers will need to be safely transported and delivered in flat pack format, suitable for self-assembly at the final school delivery location or MoE).
Supply of the storage containers is required as soon as possible, and suppliers are to provide details of their proposed manufacture and delivery schedules as part of their tender.
