Develop your career in Pricing alongside some of the best in the industry
Why has Pricing become such a sought-after career path within the legal sector?
Well, let’s get this out the way first, one of them is the financial reward - there’s been a supply and demand issue as dedicated pricing teams have emerged and expanded over the last 10-15 years.
Combine this with impact on the bottom line, and it's no surprise that salary progression in Pricing tends to outpace any other area of legal accounts and the ceiling is high.
But it’s way more than that.
A career in pricing offers the continual development and application of a diverse range of commercial skills and attributes:
Advanced analytical skills: the ability to analyse historical data and model future scenarios, using a variety of tools to help inform decisions and assess different outcomes.
Advanced communication skills: the ability to build trust, credibility and influence within a wide community of stakeholders as you collaborate with Partners and Associates, BD and marketing, colleagues across finance and, of course, clients.
Advanced commercial/business acumen: the ability to think laterally, to see the bigger picture and maintain awareness of internal and external dynamics.
