We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mower Operator to join our team. This role will suit someone confident operating tractor mowers or ride-on mowers, with strong weed-eating/line-trimming skills. Gardening or general grounds maintenance experience is a bonus. This position involves working outdoors, including roadside and high-traffic environments, so safety awareness and focus are essential. You must be comfortable working around machinery, traffic, and loud equipment for extended periods.

What you’ll be doing:
Operating tractor mowers and/or ride-on mowers
Weed eating, line trimming and general grounds maintenance
Roadside mowing and working in high-traffic areas when required
Working closely with team members and, where applicable, a pilot driver
Assisting with additional tasks such as gardening, weed spraying, labouring, and keeping sites clean and safe
Following all health and safety procedures to protect yourself, your team, and the public
What you’ll bring:
Full driver’s licence (manual preferred)
Reliable transport to and from work
Experience with ride-on mowers, tractor mowers, and weed eaters
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Great knowledge of the Waikato region
