The Organisation
4 Healthcare Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a unique therapy provider operating from a 50-acre farm in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs.
The organisation offers an innovative therapy model where clinicians can deliver meaningful therapy through hands-on activities, animal interaction and functional life skill development.
You will be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Music Therapists and Support Therapists, all working together to deliver holistic care for clients.
The Role This role provides Occupational Therapy services to both adult and paediatric clients within the NDIS framework.
The position is primarily clinic-based within the farm environment, with only limited school visits required.
Therapy sessions may incorporate animal interaction, cooking and baking activities, and practical life skills, creating a highly engaging therapeutic experience for clients.
Additional responsibilities include
- Conducting assessments and developing therapy plans
- Delivering functional therapy programs
- Supporting client independence and daily living skills
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining clinical documentation and progress reports
- Participating in day programs and therapeutic group activities
Qualifications / Essentials
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for working with diverse clients within the NDIS sector
