4 Healthcare Recruitment have partnered with a leading school in Melbourne's north western suburbs, to recruit the key role of a School Psychologist.

4 Healthcare Recruitment are working with a secondary school in Melbourne's north and western suburbs. This setting caters to adolescents, and has a focus on pupil's achieving their full potential, with an equal placement on education and wellbeing. The opportunity:
  
An opportunity exists for a psychologist to join their student services team, in a full time capacity in the 'School Psychologist' role.

• Full time, ongoing position (time frame negotiable)
• 35 hours a week
• Term time only
• Working with adolescents on campus - assessment, counselling, workshops, working with school staff
• Work as part of a MDT, and wider allied health team
• Leadership responsibilities available for an experienced candidate

  
You:
  
Ideally you will have had experience working within a school setting as a psychologist - though this is preferred and not essential. You will have a growth mindset, and expertise in best psychological practises for adolescents. You will be interested in both assessments and counselling, intervention work, and have strong relationship building skills.
 
You will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification, and full AHPRA registration
• Experience working with young people in a psychology role essential
• 2+ years working in a psychology role
• Working with children's check (or willingness to obtain)
• Educational and development endorsement preferred but not essential
