About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead our onshore finance operations team and oversee offshore AP/AR teams. This role is a 12-month fixed term role pivotal in managing Purchase to Payment (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), credit control processes, finance administration, and internal controls across Australia and New Zealand. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer & Country Head - Australia & NZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage finance operations, including AP/AR workflows and treasury functions.
- Oversee short-term cashflow forecasting, funding, and local treasury responsibilities.
- Manage supplier payments, vendor/customer queries, and credit applications.
- Ensure compliance with finance approval matrix and internal controls.
- Oversee credit control, reconciliations, and claims management.
- Manage trade credit insurance and risk office processes.
- Support internal/external audits and maintain accurate master data.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain strong vendor and banking relationships.
About You We're looking for a results-driven professional with a strong problem-solving skills who focuses on accuracy, compliance, and delivering outstanding service. This role is perfect for someone who's expertise in AP and AR processes across Australia and New Zealand enabling them to confidently perform all required tasks while proactively ensuring knowledge stays up to date. They will also:
- Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in Shared Services or Finance Operations, with exposure to PTP, OTC, and credit control required.
- SAP and foreign exchange experience highly desired.
- Possess experience communicating with global stakeholders and presenting information to senior leadership, in addition to, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
