The Opportunity
A fixed term opportunity has arisen in our Carwarp team.
The salary range will be between $80,000 - $90,000
This opportunity would allow you to make your mark as a Supply Chain Analyst where your day-to-day role would involve:
- Driving decision making through data;
- Analysing end to end equipment;
- Supply management to achieve optimal operational efficiencies targets.
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Supply Chain Operations
Ensure continuous parts availability to the business through:
- Supply chain planning, aligning with seasonal growing cycles and operational needs.
- Evaluate supplier lead times and reliability of equipment components to identify any process or supply chain gaps.
- Generate innovative solutions to improve process gaps and present to management.
- Collaborate with the stakeholders end to end, providing support for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong focus on Lean and 5S procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of machinery and equipment inventory.
Systems Integration and Automation Strive for seamless system functions to support the business services divisions by:
- Use SQL to extract data from multiple platforms and create regular reports/dashboards to track inventory levels, machine utilisation and availability.
- Assist with configuration, improvement and implementation, including training of management systems in the orchards.
- Support system automation projects that streamline data capture from field equipment (GPS tracking, telematics, IoT devices).
Safety Work in conjunction with ofi staff and the Environment Health & Safety Manager to ensure this area is well managed with respect to:
- Risk management, incident management, reporting and injury management.
- Culture of safe behaviour in all aspects of this position and workplace.
- Safe systems of work, and sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision are provided for optimum health and safety.
Additional Role Requirements Be prepared to work in a hybrid work environment split between offices and orchards.
Experience SQL coding experience to create meaningful reports is required. Familiarity with management software such as SAP, MEX etc. is preferred. Understanding of seasonal supply chains is highly desirable.
Skills 5S and Lean system implementation and solid computer knowledge is critical. Ability to interpret data with attention to detail.
Qualifications Degrees with a focus on industrial engineering, computer-based programming and/or supply chain/logistics management is highly desirable.
