Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and hands-on work? We are a global leader in agricultural products and food ingredients, where we value innovation, efficiency, and sustainable practices. We're looking for a dedicated Irrigation Technician for our central Almond Orchards. 
 
The Opportunity
As an Irrigation Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising tree growth and production. This role involves overseeing daily irrigation operations, implementing irrigation programs, and maintaining irrigation equipment and infrastructure.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Get hands-on in the field when require including troubleshooting systems, fixing leak issues and ensuring efficient water utilisation.
• Maintain irrigation equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Implement and monitor irrigation system hygiene programs, validating through testing protocols.
• Engage in irrigation system audits, testing protocols, data validation processes
• Identify and address any irrigation issues promptly.
• Manage internal/external contractors and validate work that has been carried out.
• Carry out repair work as required, diagnosing and fixing any issues as they arise

What We're Looking For:
Highly regarded: Certificate III or IV in Irrigation or Diploma in Irrigation and a current Chemical Certificate.
Must have: Current unencumbered car driver's license.

• Minimum two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in the horticultural or Almond sector.
• Understanding basic water delivery principles and horticultural knowledge.
• Resilience and drive to excel throughout extended seasons
• Business can-do attitude or a willingness to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster a high-performance team culture.
