The KONGSBERG Program Agreement (KPA) formalises the strategic cooperation between KONGSBERG and the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise. Serving as the foundation for our shared ambition to build a robust sovereign defence capability, the agreement establishes a single programmatic framework for managing critical GWEO activities.
About the role:
The Senior Systems Engineer – Guided Weapons plays a key technical leadership role supporting Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) programs within the KONGSBERG Program Agreement (KPA) and broader sovereign capability initiatives.
This role is central to delivering complex, high-consequence engineering solutions that meet Defence requirements and enable Australia’s sovereign defence capability. Working across multi-disciplinary engineering teams, you will lead end-to-end systems engineering across the full capability lifecycle. From requirements definition through to integration, verification and delivery. You will drive technical outcomes that ensure systems are safe, effective and mission-ready, with strong engineering integrity at every stage.
