About the role:
As the HSE Manager, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of KDAu’s national HSE strategy across our facilities.
• Build and implement HSE systems, policies, and procedures that drive continuous improvement and support our defence industry standards.
• Manage audits, risk assessments, investigations, and corrective actions to ensure a proactive safety culture.
• Support leadership in building environmental, social and governance (ESG) accountability.
• Influence and educate stakeholders at all levels, from technicians to executives.
• Work in a collaborative, purpose-driven team with significant growth ahead.

What you'll Bring:

• You bring demonstrated experience in leading HSE management systems in complex, high-compliance industries (Defence, manufacturing, or engineering preferred).
• You hold tertiary qualifications in HSE (or equivalent).
• You are strategic, hands-on, and capable of driving change in a scaling environment.
• You have exceptional communication, reporting, and influencing skills.
• You’re ready to step into a national leadership role at a critical time of growth. 

 Mandatory Requirements:  

• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR). 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
