We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and monitoring of quality control processes- assuring suppliers and their products meet the standards for inclusion in our supply chain.
You will be responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of project, supplier and production quality assurance activities across KDAu.
About the role: As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will:
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, including workload prioritisation and delivery across project, supplier and production quality activities.
- Oversee supplier quality and compliance, including assessments, audits, PRRs, FAIs, FATs and alignment with KONGSBERG SQAR, contractual and Australian defence standards.
- Drive project and production quality assurance, ensuring quality requirements are embedded in planning and delivery, and that risks are identified, managed and escalated where required.
- Manage non-conformance, investigations and continuous improvement, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and performance monitoring.
- Provide governance, reporting and system oversight, ensuring compliance with KDA Management System requirements and delivering clear quality performance insights to stakeholders.
What you'll Bring: - Tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
- Experience working with Suppliers on technical quality
assurance/control. - Applied knowledge of auditing processes and principles.
- Applied knowledge of and experience working with and within
Quality management system ISO 9001:2015.
Mandatory Requirements: - Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
