Join our team at the Kongsberg Missile Facility (KMF) in Newcastle, a state-of-the-art manufacturing and integration site purpose-built to deliver cutting-edge missile systems to the Australian Defence Force. This facility represents a significant milestone in Australia’s sovereign defence capability and offers the chance to work on projects that have national impact.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sourcing Lead to manage critical supplier relationships and develop sourcing strategies that deliver value creation for the Kongsberg Missile Factory. 

This role is central to aligning sourcing with global supply chain and product objectives. 

About the role:
As a Sourcing Lead, you will:

• Develop and deliver sourcing strategies for the key products and subcategories. 
• Propose, plan and implement initiatives that drive supplier performance improvements and qualifications to meet business goals. 
• Lead sourcing activities, including supplier identification, negotiation, and establishment/maintenance of supplier agreements. 
• Manage supplier relationships and act as the key point of contact. 
• Coordinate demand planning between suppliers and support procurement during execution as required. 
• Mentor, report and mitigate related risks.

 What you'll Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.  
• Minimum 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing or Procurement. 
• Demonstrated experience managing strategic suppliers in support of project and production activities. 

 Mandatory Requirements:  

• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR). 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
