Join our team at the Kongsberg Missile Facility (KMF) in Newcastle, a state-of-the-art manufacturing and integration site purpose-built to deliver cutting-edge missile systems to the Australian Defence Force. We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to drive strategic and operational procurement for domestic and international stakeholder. 

You will play a  key role in leading supply chain initiatives and ensuring successful outcomes for a critical program. 

About the role:
As a Procurement Lead, you will:

• Plan and monitor major, time-critical or long lead items (LLI) demand requests within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in collaboration with Planning and Procurement teams.
• Identify, report, and escalate potential delivery challenges and risks, in coordination with the Material Planner and Delivery Team, and initiate corrective actions as required.
• Ensure ERP data accuracy while acting as a super user in ERP, IMPROVE, and QLIK systems. 
• Deliver accurate reporting and insights to guide business decisions. 
• Lead procurement negotiations and introduce new suppliers within the ERP system. 

 What you'll Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field. 
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role managing strategic suppliers in support of projects and production activities.
• Experience with ERP software and the Microsoft office suite. 

 Mandatory Requirements:  

• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR). 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
