Kongsberg Defence Australia (KDAu) is seeking an experienced Material Requirements Planner to join our growing team in Adelaide. This role will be based at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Mawson Lakes, supporting critical defence projects.

You’ll play a key role in material planning and production scheduling, ensuring the seamless delivery of materials and components to meet production demands. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your planning expertise to a global leader in defence technology.

About the Role
As the Material Requirements Planner, you will:

• Develop and maintain material and distribution requirement plans (MRP/DRP) aligned with production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust planned purchase orders to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure materials are available to meet project timelines.
• Analyse changes in production demand and proactively manage supply chain risks.
• Support process improvements and assist in “what if” scenario planning for future needs.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in material planning and/or production planning.
• Strong ERP systems experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools and supply chain processes.
• Experience in the Australian Defence Industry (desirable).
• Trade qualification in a related discipline (essential); Engineering Degree (desirable).
