Kongsberg Defence Australia (KDAu) is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. Based at our brand-new facility in Mawson Lakes, this role will support key defence programs by managing purchasing activities and building strong supplier relationships.

About the Role
You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient procurement processes by:

• Researching, sourcing and evaluating suppliers to support project requirements.
• Preparing, updating, and tracking purchase orders using ERP systems.
• Liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, and managing supplier documentation.
• Maintaining accurate procurement data and supporting supply chain activities.
• Building productive supplier relationships to meet quality, price and delivery goals.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong purchasing experience within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.
• Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (desirable).
• Previous experience in the Defence Industry (desirable).
