About The Role: 
  
The Strategic Sourcing and Project Support Lead will oversee supplier engagement and provide operational support for KONGSBERG Global Supply Chain Program (GSCP).
This includes:

• Identifying key suppliers and assessing market conditions to support program needs.
• Understanding supplier capabilities in different manufacturing specialties.
• Reviewing, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts.
• Mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with Kongsberg supply chain standards.
• Building and maintaining strong supplier partnerships, coordinating meetings, and reporting on progress.
• Preparing and presenting proposals and bids to secure export opportunities and support program growth.
• Monitoring KPIs, tracking progress, and reporting on program effectiveness in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Collaborating with internal teams to align procurement and business development efforts.
• Staying informed on industry trends to identify new opportunities or emerging technologies.
• Planning and coordinating meetings, travel, networking events, and training workshops.
• Fostering global relationships and cross-function collaboration.    

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Procurement and contracting, Supply Chain Operations or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in planning and managing supplier activities – including sourcing; supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, tender/contract documentation.
• Experience administering day to day project support activities.
• Experience in strategic supplier engagement within the Defence Industry (desired).

• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
