Expression of Interest for Kongsberg Missile Factory (KMF)
Kongsberg Defence Australia (KDAu) is embarking on a significant venture with the establishment of the nation’s first guided weapons manufacturing facility in Williamtown and plans to be operational by 2027.
The state of the art facility will produce and maintain the NSM and JSM.
Kongsberg is projected to employ approx. 100 personnel upon completion with an initial focus on recruiting foundational staff to establish core business operations. Key roles in this phase will include IT, security, planning, engineering and administrative support.
Following the establishment phase, we will expand the workforce to include technicians, warehousing, purchasing and planning staff.
A comprehensive training program is being developed to equip employees with the specialised skills required.
