About The Role: 
As an Engineering Officer you will assist the Project Engineering Team with evaluating, writing and reviewing formal procedures to support the successful execution and operation of KONGSBERG’s engineering projects.
  
This will include:

• Maintaining configuration management of project documentation, production baselines, and supplier technical data packs.
• Assisting the Project Team in transferring and processing current and historical documentation from older drives to a new server system, including registering and organising files to create a structured and relevant data storage solution.
• Processing non-conformances and deviation requests from both Production and Suppliers, through to relevant Design Engineering Authorities. This includes screening for errors and ensuring follow-up within set timeframes.
• Supporting the Project Engineering Team to review supplier data packs for approval, identifying missing documentations, and assisting with presentation and formatting to ensure readiness for customer delivery.
• Managing the project document registers and file storage system using SharePoint, ensuring the timely processing, distribution and storage of critical communication and data.
• Collating and producing assembly data packs (ADPs) ready for timely delivery.
• Supporting collaboration between the Project Engineering Team and key departments in Production, Supply Chain and Planning by assisting with production schedule reviews, milestone events and Change Management Meetings.
• Assisting the Engineering Team process Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for both suppliers and Production.
• Supporting testing activities, including assisting with test reports if required.

• Certification in Technical Drawings or equivalent 
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Certificate IV in Drafting
• Experience in Information and Communication Technology
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Experience in Configuration Management and/or Quality experience with document control and processing.
• Experience in a similar role in a defence environment.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

• Must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
