The Role:

• A permanent opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team within the Mining & Civil Industries.
• Based in our Belmont head office with regular site visits to the Pilbara and Goldfields site locations.
• Visible and proactive role to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, all policies, procedures, and systems.
• This role will manage all work, health, and safety aspects of Premium Mechanical Group.
• Promoting the core values and ensuring all operations are safely maintained for our employees, contractors, and clients.
• Liaise with client site representatives to provide support, conduct joint risk assessments, and communicate the PMG Management Plan.
• Monthly WHS reporting including all return to work plans, incidents, safety stats, recordable injuries, and any notable terms of operational safety.

What You Need:

• Required Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar WHS role within the Mining and/or Construction Industries. 
• Experience in casual and labour hire workforce safety management 
• Qualifications: Cert IV in WHS, HSE, or equivalent; knowledge and understanding of all relevant acts and regulations.
• Core Skills: Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team; industry knowledge; and experience in casual and labour hire workforce safety management.
• Attributes: Proactive approach with practical real-world experience; ability to build great working relationships; motivation to drive continuous improvement; and a safety-conscious, diligent attitude.
• Verification: 2 successful reference checks.
