Working in conjunction with the Surgical Services manager and Cardiac Cath Lab Clinical Care Supervisor, the Cath Lab Radiology Technician (RT) assesses, plans, implements and collaborates with other departments to ensure excellence in patient and family care, reflective of CCMH mission, vision and values. The RT will integrate departmental goals for improvement across the care continuum. The Cardiac Cath Lab RT will be providing direct patient care to cardiac patients, as well as communicating with the physician continuously to insure patient safety during procedures. The RT practices within the framework of the AART professional standards. Requires on call status to be rotated equally among staff for call, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma with graduation from a School of Radiology Technology.
Licensed by the State of Wyoming and ARRT.
Must have current Healthcare Provider CPR or Red Cross Professional Rescuer certification within 60 days of employment. ACLS required.
12-Lead EKG, dysrhythmia and hemodynamic identification required within 3 months of hire.
National Certification in specialty area preferred. Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab, Interventional Radiology, emergency care, or surgery.
