12 hour nights, dependant upon need at time of request. Up to every other weekend for scheduled shifts with occasional On-Call.
Responsible for meeting patient’s priority needs by assessing, participating in interdisciplinary care planning, providing and/or delegating care and evaluating patients’ responses and progress toward clinical outcomes. Contributes to an efficient and effective work environment through activities including professional communication and documentation and/or resourcing of others. Responsible for the appropriate delegation of nursing care to licensed and unlicensed personnel according to Nebraska statute.

18.*Full time and part time employees must attend a minimum of 50% of monthly staff meetings with validation for receipt of information presented at 100% of meetings. PRN and limited part time employees must provide validation for receipt of information presented at 100% of meetings. Completion of all mandatory sessions/trainings.
19.*Follows organization’s policies and procedures.
20.*Effectively manages the labor and birth process.
21.*Initiates and manages induction of labor and outpatient antenatal testing.
22.*Functions as a qualified medical provider in evaluating the presence of an emergency medical condition to comply with EMTALA regulations.
23.*Accurately completes documentation to ensure accurate statistical information for obstetrical patients and newborns.
24.*Assists in the management of the birth certificate process.
25.Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
