What You’ll Do:
Under the supervision of a clinician or a Registered Nurse, the position is responsible for ensuring that all the aspects of the patient’s care are in order and meets all criteria to process the patient safely through the clinical experience or procedure. Oversees the operational flow of the specialty or other departments to include patient flow, nursing flow, and assistance with clinical procedures. Responsible for performing operational duties as required under the supervision of the supervisor / manager / lead clinician.
1 or 2 years of post-high school education or a degree from a two-year college.
Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
Current California LVN license.
I.V. therapy and phlebotomy certification.
Current Basic Life Support for Providers, by American Heart Association (AHA) - (100% online certification is not acceptable).
Experience:
Over 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience.
Preference to experience in an outpatient, Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting.
Spanish-speaking a plus.
Computer literate.
Manual dexterity to use/handle equipment and instruments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
