This caregiver is the only clinical psychologist on our Medical Rehabilitation unit and must be able to function with minimal supervision and be part of the interdisciplinary team.
General Job Duties:
Provides psychology services to Rehabilitation programs, including direct assessment and treatment, program development, and is a resource to the teams for complex issues.
Plans and provides psychological assessment and treatment programs.
Advises and consults as a resource to rehab teams, other rehab professionals and physicians.
Prepares reports for patient records and summary reports on psychology services
Develops psychology programs to meet the needs of the changing organization and changes in health care delivery.
Provides the team with interpretation of assessment results and makes pertinent recommendations for the team.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Computerized charting, Epic medical record system, zoom calls.
PhD level education in field of Psychology, Educational or counseling Psychology, or possession of an earned doctorate degree deemed equivalent by Oregon regulations pertaining to Psychology licensure.
Minimum of 3 years of post-doctoral experience in a medical or rehabilitation program.
Licensed to practice psychology in the state of Oregon. Current CPR Certification required. Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements.
